Why Trévor

Trévor is your everyday companion. It helps you track your day, know what to do in a crisis, keep your emergency card at hand and forget nothing thanks to reminders.

It also teaches you to live better with your condition, with short therapeutic education modules, and on top of that it is free!

What Trévor is not

Trévor is not a medical device, a diagnosis or medical advice. It complements your care and does not replace your care team.

In an emergency, call 144 in Switzerland, 112 in Europe, or your own country's emergency number elsewhere.

Experimental features

Reading the signals from your watch or ring, the vigilance and low-energy risk alert, the 48-hour crisis risk estimate and HemoSnap (haemoglobin estimate from a photo) are at the research stage. They are not clinically validated and are shown for information only.

• A low score never rules out a crisis.
• If your pain rises, if you have a fever (38.3 °C or more) or if you are short of breath, contact your care team or call emergency services, whatever the score.
• HemoSnap is less reliable on dark skin.
• You can switch these features off in one tap in Trévor.

Your data

Your database is hosted in Switzerland (Infomaniak, Geneva), under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. It holds your first name, your messaging profile name, your messaging ID (with WhatsApp, your number), your answers and, if you connect it, your watch measurements. Nothing is sold, there are no ads, and nothing is passed to an insurer or an employer.

Your data is pseudonymised, not anonymous: in analyses, a code replaces your name.

For your free-text questions, the Claude language model (Anthropic, United States) reads your text, a summary without your first name and any photos or documents you send. Under its terms, Anthropic does not use them for training and deletes them within 30 days.

Other services are involved only if you use them: Google for voice and Google Wallet, OpenStreetMap for nearby places, Stripe for an online payment.

You can see and export everything with /donnees.

Your right to withdraw

You can withdraw at any time, with no effect on your care.

/supprimer deletes everything, immediately and permanently. /etude quitter test takes you out of the test programme.

The test programme

Trévor is still under construction: everyone who uses it takes part in the test programme. You get every feature, including the newest, and your feedback (/contact) helps us improve it.

New features stay confidential until their official release.

This programme is separate from the TREVOR-PILOTE clinical study at HUG, which is awaiting authorisation from the Geneva ethics committee and will start only afterwards.
