Watch guide

Connect your watch to Trévor.

Your watch or ring measures your sleep, heart and oxygen overnight. By sending these measurements to Trévor every day, it spots a drop in form earlier. You set up the upload once, then there is nothing more to do.

In Trévor, open My health, then My watch / my ring (or type /montre). This screen gives you your personal address and lets you link your watch. The pictures below are examples to help you find your way.

1 · Automatic connection (recommended)

On Android Automatic

Samsung, Fitbit, Garmin, Xiaomi, Huawei, Amazfit… everything goes through one small app.

  1. On your phone, open the Android app page and install Coach Drépano. It relies on Health Connect, the Android health vault where your watch keeps its measurements.
  2. In Trévor, open My health, then My watch / my ring: your personal address appears, tap it to copy it.
  3. In the app, tap Link to Trévor, paste this address, tap Authorise and send, then accept sharing the measurements.
  4. Tap 🔋 Allow background upload and answer Authorise to Android. That is it.

After that, your measurements go out by themselves, about every 30 minutes, even with the app closed. If the app says Trévor refused the upload, type /adresse in Trévor and paste the new address.

On iPhone (Apple Watch) Automatic

Your measurements are in the Health app; the Health Auto Export app sends them every day.

  1. On the App Store, install Health Auto Export: it is the app that will send your measurements while you sleep.
  2. In Trévor, type /montre and choose Apple Watch: your personal address appears, tap it to copy it.
  3. In Health Auto Export, create an automation ( Automations, then +) of type REST API. Paste your Trévor address, keep the POST upload in JSONformat, set it to once a day and tick the useful measurements: steps, heart, sleep, oxygen.
  4. Every day, your measurements then go out by themselves.

This is the most technical setting in the guide: if you get stuck, ask a relative, once is enough. A watch from another brand on iPhone (Garmin, Fitbit…) connects more simply, in one click, just below.

2 · Watches that connect in one click

Oura, Fitbit, Whoop, Garmin, Polar, Suunto, Strava, Ultrahuman One click

These brands link directly in Trévor, from any phone, with nothing to install.

  1. In Trévor, type /montre, then Connect a watch (or a ring).
  2. Choose your brand in the list.
  3. Tap Authorise and sign in to your brand account. Your measurements then arrive every night.

Oura needs one extra step: Trévor opens the Oura token page, you create a code and paste it into Trévor. Fitbit and Garmin appear here when one-click connection is enabled; otherwise, the Android app covers them too.

3 · The Wear OS watch tiles

“Today” and “My card” Wear OS

The Today tile gathers the essentials of your day: your crisis risk (experimental estimate), your form, your treatments and your next appointment. The My card tile shows your emergency card, even without network.

  1. On the watch face, swipe left to the end of the tiles.
  2. Tap +, then choose Today or My card. The exact labels vary a little depending on the watch brand.
  3. After that, one swipe from the watch face is enough. Tapping a line of “Today” opens the matching page, tapping “My card” opens the card full screen.

You first need to install the watch app: the Android app page explains how. Install the watch app

4 · As a fallback, or for an unsupported watch

Send a file Fallback

If the automatic way does not work for you, or if your watch is on no list, you can always send a file. Almost every health app can export one.

  1. Open your watch app (Samsung Health, Apple Health, Huawei Health, Zepp, Withings, Google Fit…).
  2. Look for Download my data or Export in the settings or your profile. You get a file (ZIP or CSV).
  3. In Trévor, type /montre, choose your brand and send the file with the paperclip 📎, or through the web page shown.

A simple table with the date, steps, sleep, heart and oxygen works too. You can redo it from time to time: Trévor keeps every day already received.

Need a hand?

Ask a relative, or the Coach Drépanoteam, who will guide you step by step. At worst, a simple file is enough. Your data belongs to you: your database is hosted in Switzerland and you can erase everything with /supprimer in Trévor.
